    Hi Guys,

I recently upgraded cpanel version from v10 to v11 . I noticed that the when theme x and x2 are used, cpanel is still showing version as 10 where as its showing 11 for other themes. Can somebody please explain this

X3 is used by default for new accounts, and as X3 is designed for cPanel 11, it will show version 11 at the top.

X and X2 were not retrofitted for cPanel 11. As a result, they only offer the functionality of cPanel 10, hence they show version 10 at the top (though the sidebar with the detailed information will show version 11).

It is highly recommended you run the X Skin Migration Wizard in the WHM interface to migrate the accounts using those older themes to X3.

The X and X2 themes are currently only receiving maintenance for critical issues. They will become fully deprecated in version 12. If users strongly desire retaining the same look and feel, simply assign them to the X3 theme but set the style of the X3 theme to "X." Those still using the Bluelagoon theme should use the "Bluelagoon" style of X3.
