    Hello,

    I'm running FC5 with MailScanner, lfd, and csf (chirpy). Today, I decided to do a manual update of cpanel/whm from the release branch (along with perl 5.8.8). All went well and the look & feel is very nice. I also like the other added features; a definite improvement.

    The problem I encountered:
    ====================
    Exim could not deliver mail to local mailboxes. It failed miserably and the "pending" queue filled for a good 5 hours. The error message I kept getting:

    R=defer_router defer (-1): All deliveries are handled by MailScanner

    I looked at the exim.conf file at the defer_router section and tried to trace what was going on but came up empty. Tried to revert back to original exim.conf, did an update on exim, and restarted it... but to no avail.

    As a result, I had to revert back to version 10.x (from the stable branch).

    I would like to upgrade to version 11 but am not confident that all the kinks have been worked out. Has anyone else encountered the same problem in upgrading?

    It is nothing special after a huge upgrade / downgrade, it become a problem when you didn't change a thing on your system.

    You're probably right, but after the mail plug I'm more cautious in my thinking.
