I wanted to know if the cPanel VPS license pricing applies to situations where the server is running on VMWare too? I could not find this info anywhere.

    Thanks!

It is my understanding that cPanel can detect virtualized nodes under all of the major hypervisors/vm softwares: Xen, KVM, VMware, OpenVZ, etc.

That is correct; the virtualization environments you listed are supported by cPanel. The following page lists all of our supported operating systems and virtualization environments.

Thanks for the replies, much appreciated! BTW, anything I should know/be worried about when it comes to VMWare? Just asking, used OpenVZ only before...
