    Go on, have a guess
They're the same and they're completely different.

Both provide a server configuration framework and UI for administrators and users.

The DA ethos seems to be more "tread lightly" and leaves much of the work still to be done at the root shell.

The cPanel ethos is to provide almost all the functionality and configuration within the UI itself at a highly granular level.

Which type of control panel is for you depends entirely on which path you want to follow. You'll have to do more work to compare features and functionality, though cPanel will win each time in those areas.

Cpanel is intended for everyone, whether you are an expert or a complete newb.

Other control panels require more experience expecially when it comes to the setup/configurations.
