Hello, I have been stuck on this for a while.
I want to add a Add-on to cPanel for all my users. I wish to add a web builder called concrete5. I found a help page here: https://github.com/concrete5/concrete5-cpanel

But I can't seem to make sense of the section "Installation the cPaddon" it just links to this page: Distributing Your Addons

I am really stuck on how to add it and can't make sense of that page. So if someone who knows what they're doing please reply :) I will be hugely grateful.

Thank you so much for your help,
Joe

Hello :)

A good introduction on cPAddons can be found at:

cPAddons Intro

Could you let us know which part of the installation steps you need more information on? Please note that your access level is listed as "Reseller Owner" and the installation requires root access.

Thank you.

Hey,
I'm not 100% sure if I have root access. I do have access to all the cPanel files before the public_html and I have SSH access but I'm not sure where root access is or how to get there. Can you help me out?

Thanks

When you access Web Host Manager and SSH, you would use the "root" username if you have root access. If you purchased a dedicated server or VPS, you typically have root access. Reseller or shared hosting accounts do not typically have root access.

Thank you.
