Hi,
Perhaps it is a somewhat obvious question but ... due to certain problems with the server (I have been in a ddos attack for days), I have separated my server into two VPS, one for webserver, the other for mail. At the moment I have the mail server deactivated, but I have thought that it is a very good option to use Amazon SES for the mail, that way, in the header of the mail the IP of my server will not arrive.
I have been looking for information about it, not long because, between work, my daughter, my house and this attack now that I have the most time focused on it, I do not have time to spare.

I like to have everything in cPanel / WHM, therefore, all emails, if they are sent through Amazon SES, if I receive (I mean in my server's domain) I receive them on my server and therefore they are stored there? The ones sent by the site through Amazon SES I don't mind not having them, but the ones I receive do.

I said, if it is an obvious question, excuse me, Amazon SES is a new field for me, I can ask them but I'm sure that here, there will be people who already have it and can tell me better.

Thanks and best regards.

Hello,

Emails relayed through Amazon SES would still be sent from the cPanel server to Amazon, and then from Amazon back to the cPanel where they will get stored.

We do have the following article which will help walk you through the setup for Amazon SES as well.

I hope this helps.

Hi (again :) )
I read the article and I configured all in Amazon SES, send mails trough amazon ses fine and view that, are in my cpanel, well.
But I view that, I can set a mx records from amazon ses for received mail...and here have a "big" doubt...
If in my dns records, create a mx of amazon ses for also, reveived the mails trough amazon ses, I need deleted my actual mx record to point to my server? And...continue stored the mails in my cpanel / server? This is a little confused for me... :) bucase if I set this new mx record the ip of this mx record is other than my server, then, how know that the mails are send to my server? I don't know if I'm explained well...sorrys...

Thanks and regards!

Thank you @cPanelAaronH !
This is just the info that I need for this.

Thanks!!

Hello, were you able to configure WHM to work with AWS SES?
I'm confused about the domain, I have multiple cPanel domains inside my WHM, do I set the server name as SES domain or should I authenticate each domain from each cPanel account?

Thanks and sorry for the english, I'm using google translator.
