Had this problem for a bit but decided to post the question today - I modify apache sig using mod_security on some boxes and CP/WHM News (and the security check at the top of the page) is always nixed. Wondering if this is because the page is looking for the version signature and since mod_sec modifies it the page fails? Thanks.

That's exactly the reason. The security/version check will be changed in the near future so this won't be a problem. The changes should occur before the next Stable builds.

Sure does! Thanks Ben. Glad to hear you guys are working with those of us using third-party scripts. :)
