cPanel/WHM news Security Notice

Today I clicked on the cPanel/WHM news link and noticed a "Security Notice" at the top.

When you guys publish these on that screen, can you please put in a Date so I know if it's new or old?

I see a sticky thread in this forum from September about a security problem, and I also have a security alert from Qualys on October 31st detailing possibly the same security vulnerability. I have no way of knowing from either source if my server is patched or not.

Let me know what you guys come up with. If you're going to put generalized scary messages in the news page, I wish you would make them a lot more specific.
