Using WHM 11.23.2 cPanel 11.23.6-R26866 on CENTOS Enterprise 5.2 i686

Tested and installed WHM/cPanel for use with WHMCS (residing on a separate server) and all was well until a few days ago when we started putting live customers on there.

Customers now tell us from time to time - once to twice a day that FTP/HTTP/Mail is not working... so we need to go in and restart those processes... and once a day we are also finding the server stops responding and requires a reboot.

We also get cpsrvd failed and restarted messages around once to twice a day.

Anyone else having this issues? Any pointers on what we should be looking for and how we may fix these issues? Logs do not show anything really. :-/

Sounds like something is gradually eating your CPU, the usage building until the server can no longer allocate resources to function.

SSH into the box and run 'top'. Let that run for a while and see if the CPU usage increases and what might be causing it (could be any number of things).

That will at least give you a starting point to diagnose the problem.
