When I log into the whm webpage and click the button to upgrade to the latest version a new page appears. On top there is a loading animation and directly below it's stuck on 0% for over an hour.

Also when I click on easyapache a blank page comes up.

I've tried logging into the server (as a root user) using ssh and terminal and manually running upcp, but that didn't work either.

There is no scripts folder in /usr/local/cpanel/
However, I can see upcp in /scripts/ of the root directory
When I try and run it using /scripts/upcp it says,
    -bash: /scripts/upcp: Permission denied

Can anyone help? My Cpanel/WHM is...
    cPanel 11.25.0-R42213 - WHM 11.25.0 - X 3.9

I really just want to upgrade my server's PHP from PHP 5.2.6 to 5.3 or higher.

    Hello,

cPanel version 11.25 was released back in 2009, so it's very outdated, and thus it may require some extra work in order to complete the update. Could you open a support ticket so we can complete the update process for you? You can post the ticket number here so we can update this thread with the outcome.

    Thank you.
