I was wondering if such a program exists that would allow me to change cPanel settings and view information without the overhead of having to load the web pages? Preferably for OS X but a Windows's one would be just as helpful.

    Thanks
    James

You can do a heck of a lot just with your terminal

    Using SSH?

I don't believe I have terminal access to my server as it is a reseller account on a shared server.

    Regards

You can access the functionality of WHM and cPanel through our XML API calls. See http://www.cpanel.net/plugins/devel/ for more info.

Note that any desktop program that would access the api would still have to make requests to WHM (but wouldn't have to load all the graphics and such)
