cPanel without the possibility to backup, is there a way to backup?

    Hi there,

    in my cpanel installation at my hosting provider, there is no item for "backup". i think my provider disabled it. does anybody know how to work around this problem?

    i want to backup my files, but it's not that easy without that function...

    would be great to get help from you! tank you!

    Depending on the size of the account and how much you want to save/backup, you could compress and download directories via File Manager in cPanel. If its a large account and you need it intact with all system files etc, you're going to need to speak with your host.

    backup menu is only the file or include the database?

    In File Manager? From there you'll only be backing up files, no databases. You should be able to get into phpMyAdmin and do a database export.
