cpanel was upgraded to v11 running on FreeBSD v6.1 When i try to start the cpanel server I get the following:

/usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libwrap.so.3" not found, required by "TCPwrappers.so"

    can anyone help?

I'm attempting to recreate this issue, but in the meantime can you open a support request to my attention directly with cPanel?

    Thanks

i think i have the same error:

    # cat version
    11.4.2-RELEASE_13422

    uname -a
    FreeBSD web2.netplads.dk 6.2-STABLE FreeBSD 6.2-STABLE #0: Fri Feb 16 17:26:22 CET 2007

    web2# ./cpsrvd
    /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: /usr/local/lib/compat/pkg/libwrap.so.3: unsupported file layout

it seems like the compat5x combat 4x errors and bails out on me?

my solution so far (did not reboot)

    cd /usr/ports/misc/compat5
    make

    cd work/compat5x

make saftycopy of libwrap.so.3, copy a fresh from the given directory

... it made some of cpanel happy..
