Cpanel won't start on two of my servers after last night's update. This is the error message:
[email protected] [/scripts]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/cpanel3 start
Starting Cpanel4 services: execvp: No such file or directory
[FAILED]
Starting WebMail services:
Starting pop3 services:
Starting Cpanel4 Chat services:
Starting Melange Chat services:
Starting InterChange services: [ OK ]
Starting Cpanel4 ssl services: [ OK ]
Starting Web Host Manager services:
Starting Cluster Management services:
When I try to locate execvp this is returned:
[email protected] [/scripts]# locate execvp
/usr/lib/perl5/5.00503/i386-linux/auto/POSIX/execvp.al
/usr/man/man3/execvp.3.gz
After further investigation I found that the &cpaneld& file was missing. I copied it from another server and CPanel runs ok.
