Cpanel X and Outlook 2K3 error

    Hello Guys,

    I'm a user that has hosting with a company using Cpanel 10. I have 2 notebooks with Outlook 2003 SP3, one with windows vista business and the other with home, and every time that I try to get my emails I receive this error: 0x800CCC0F and says the connection with server got interrupted. I did check this error in internet and apparently causes are:

    - Firewall
    - Antivirus
    - MTU size
    - Failure authenticate in to outgoing server

    I did uninstall Antivirus, turn off firewall, reduce MTU, reinstall Outlook and nothing solve the problem, the only thing that I haven't try is to review the authentication on Outgoing Server, the hosting company had switch me over 3 different servers (all with cPanel) and nothing. Some times goes through and do get the emails, but is ones in a while.

    Can someone help me?

    In your Outlook mail account configuration, check "My Outgoing server requires authentication"
    Then, in Advanced tab, be sure to check "Use same settings as my incoming mail server"

    Thanks for your answer, that was done when I did create the account.

    I think is a more complex solution that I need.

    The ISP at your home may require you to use thier outgoing mailserver details. Cox, Earthlink and others do this.
