I keep removing the EML extension from /etc/cpanel_exim_system_filter. Every time the server updates, it overwrites that file and adds the EML extension back in. How can I prevent it from blocking EML extensions which is the default with Thunderbird forwarding.

Well that would certainly do it, but I don't want .exe .bat .js etc allowed. I just want to allow .eml attachments. There has to be something to allows me to specify which to allow and which to block.

Its pretty much all or nothing unless you want to maintain your own filter file.

If you'd rather just maintain your own filter file, just make a copy of the cpanel_exim_system_filter , then change the config in whm to point to that one.
