Is there any way to make cpanellog run only at certain hours?
Its running thru the day and the hdd hammering has its toll in the service's quality.
We already purchased a second hdd to balance io load, but it will help if logs would be process after working hours.

    eg
cpanellogd - updating bandwidth for XXACCOUNTXXX (at 13:00pm)

    Regards,
    Martin

There are some settings here you might be interested in:

Yes, there are some useful settings there, but nothing that will prevent cpanellogd still runs in the middle of the day.

    Hello :)

In "WHM >> Server Configuration >> Statistics Software Configuration", you can click on:

    "Configure Statistic Process Time Schedule"

This will allow you to check all hours that you would like log analysis NOT to be performed.

    Thank you.

The server's time is correct ( checked with: date '+%H:%M' ), and the Statistics Software Configuration was already check from 8:00 to 20:00.
Right now is 9:15 in here and i spot cpanellogd among the process " cpanellogd - updating bandwidth for useraccount "

    Regards,
    Martin

    Check here:
WHM > Server Configuration > Server Time

Is this a busy server with many large accounts?

checked the time at WHM > Server Configuration > Server Time and its the correct one.
Yes, its a large server, but cpanellogd is not processing logs all the time, its starts and stop through the whole day.

    Martin
