I have been seeing periodic high load on a cPanel server for a little while now. In looking through the error logs of the server I see frequently:

    [2012-05-23 06:14:04 -0700] info [cpanellogd] Unable to load summary files: /var/cpanel/bandwidth/solp.hour, /var/cpanel/bandwidth/solp.5min

    This server is running on:

    CentOS 5.8
    WHM 11.32.2 (build 25)

    Hi,

Looks like its a bug in php when the server is in high load or application that works with large numbers of objects there by leaves the error you have specified in Apache log.

You have to reduce the load in the server. In the mean time you can add the line "export USE_ZEND_ALLOC=0" to the apache envvars file and check the issue persists or not.

Unfortunately adding that made no difference at all, I'm still seeing the same error above. Could it be the version of cPanel that I'm using?

    WHM 11.32.2 (build 25)
    CENTOS 5.8 x86_64 standard on host2

    Hi,

What about the server load ? are you getting the above errors in the apache log when the server is on high load? . What version php are you using? Did you tried to recompile apache and php ?

Did you tried the exact steps below ?
    ----------
    edit:
    /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl

    and add:
    export USE_ZEND_ALLOC=0

    and stop & start apache.
