Hey everyone! Since there are several AutoSSL threads with multiple replies at this time, I just wanted to post what we've been doing lately behind the scenes.

You're likely familiar with the following error message from AutoSSL:

Code:
 The “cPanel (powered by Sectigo)” provider cannot currently accept incoming requests. The system will try again later.
In general, switching to Let's Encrypt as the AutoSSL provider (The Let's Encrypt Plugin | cPanel & WHM Documentation) will resolve most of these issues, although the hostname certificate will still be issued through Sectigo.

We are aware of the persistent issues with the AutoSSL ratelmits and delays, and do have plans to address the issue. However, we aren't quite ready to publicly share those plans. Once I have more *official* news to report I'll be sure to let you all know!

Update - in cPanel version 108 we have added the option of having Let's Encrypt enabled by default. You can see this in the Change Logs here:

I'll share more news as soon as I get it!

Below another issue

AutoSSL failed to request an SSL certificate for “xxx.com” because of an error: (XID sgvqtf) The response to the HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) “POST” request from “https://store.cpanel.net/json-api/ssl/certificate/free” indicated an error (504, Gateway Timeout): <html><body><h1>504 Gateway Tim…

I've checked if it's a firewall issue but got same error when i disabled firewall

EDIT :
After 10 minutes error changed to this;

AutoSSL failed to request an SSL certificate for “xxx.com” because of an error: (XID wt93ug) The cPanel Store returned an error (X::Order::NotFound) in response to the request “POST ssl/certificate/free”: Generic exception
