I am using Hostgator's cpanel. Is there a way to tell the Filemanager to preserve the dates when copying files? I am copying code to a go live folder and I need to know which are the latest files.

I know I can do this from the command line using cp -p but the File manager would be easier if I am just copying only certain files.

    Thanks

    Hello :)

It's not possible to preserve the original date when copying a file via File Manager. You will need to use SSH or FTP if you require this functionality.

    Thank you.
