    Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of optimising our daily backup. We have about 600-700 account on the server and lately the daily backup runs really slow. Most accounts are quite small with only a small website on it. Anyway our daily backup starts at 11pm and doesnt finish before 10-11 am the next day. We use 'incremental backup' and 'Per Account and Entire MySQL Directory'.

First of all: is it normal for the cpbackup to take this long? Most of the time about 90% of the accounts havent changes from the day before.

Second: For some checks I need to know in which order cpbackup works its way through the accounts. Its not alphabetically.

    Thanks & Cheers,
    Bjorn

    Hi bmett,

Which version of cPanel/WHM are you running?
