    Hi,

I have cpbackup set to run daily, with daily and weekly retention on a server. The backup routine that updates the weekly backup (rsync the last daily to weekly), which is run by cpbackup itself, is being executed every Thursday, which is very strange because it's not either the first or the last day of the week. This is causing severe load problems for me, because it's being executed on a heavy load day of the week. Could you please point me out how to change the day for this routine?

    Thanks.

    Hello :)

The backup system is designed to rotate the archive at the one-week period, regardless of the day of the week. You could disable weekly backups, and instead setup a cron job to sync the backup archives on a date/time of your choosing.

    Thank you.
