    Hey all,

I've just finished setting up a vpn/nfs mount to another machine for running backups of my machine. I manually started /scripts/cpbackup *last night* at about 8:00, and it's *still* running. I only have 6 accounts on this server, so I know it's not a lot of files. Does anyone have a suggestion as to why it's running so dang slow?

    Thanks!
    -Brooks

    Hi

Did you find a solution for this problem? We have exactly the same problem, the backup is running 24 hours and it never stops.

    Thanks
    Michael

I searched and searched and found nothing myself.

To the best of my knowledge this is what I did to help

I went to WHM->Tweak Settings and found:
The load average above the number of cpus at which logs file processing should be suspended (default 0):

I set it to 3. Even though I have only 1 cpu I made the change. The only impact I see it that the backups are completing much sooner than before.
