The IP entries are logged into the cphulkd database, on the 'brutes' and 'logins' tables.

You can simply clear their values via the CLI.

    Something among the lines of:

echo "delete from brutes; delete from logins;" | mysql cphulkd

    Hi everyone

Sorry for dragging this old post up, but seems to be what I'm after, well - ish.

I have a client who is blocked from the server but his IP address is not in the database - in fact, the whole db is empty.

He can access his site and email from any other location.

Is there something I have missed? Would really appreciate some advice.

    Cheers
    Gary

    @Gary,

Do you run any firewall like APF or CSF?
Ask him to do traceroute from his location to the server, it is easier that way to determine what blocking him.

    Hi rsong,

Please forget my "noobish" replies; I normally leave this for my techy guy ;)

but... looks like there's a firewall up and running ... csf.

I'll ask him to do a tracert and post the stuff here. Cheers for your help, appreciated.

    Gary

If you know the IP of the user go to your WHM, at bottom of left menu click "ConfigServer Security&Firewall" > Find button on left, Firewall Deny IPs and open that file to find the IP. Simply highlight that IP(entire line) and delete. Then save/restart firewall.

Might be as easy as that. ;)
