cphulkd request failed to process

    Is anyone able to explain what the log entry dovecot: auth: Error: Cpanel::MailAuth: Internal Error: cphulkd request failed to process before the actual auth fail entry means? It looks more like some sort of error.

    Here is a snip from the log. Last night user logged in fine. This morning there was an auth failure (we are trying to get to the bottom of where that is actually being generated)

    Last attempts yesterday were successfule, then first attempts today login failed preceded by the message above and then cphulk locked the IP out.

    Hello,

    Which cPanel/WHM version are you using on your server ? As I can see internal case (184113) was created for this issues and it's already fixed in cPanel 11.50

    Hello :)

    Internal case number 184113 is addressed in cPanel version 11.50.1.1. It's currently only available on the "Current" and "Edge" build tiers, so you won't see the issue addressed under that version or higher reaches the build tier you are using.
