    Hi!!

The server load has a big increase in my server (up to 15!)...I suppose that it happens because the cppop....when, this morning, the exim/cppop was failed, the server load was arround 2, but, after I restart this services and the CPPOP and EXIM works correctly, the SERVER LOAD has been arround 15...
In the list of process, CPPOP is the 'top process' in CPU usage..

Anybody can help me to solve this problem? How to stop the high cpu increase and to EXIm/CPPOP work friendly...?

Think you need to check other things also. Cpop isn't a very demanding program, but remember that the Cpanel processor status isn't the best way to monitor performance.

He's right though, there has been a huge increase in the overhead of Cppop ever since Nick messed with it a while back. Dunno about loads of 15, but it's definately a lot more demanding than it used to be.

Generally if cppop is taking up a lot of cpu time a user has a very very big mailbox.

So having unlimited (meaning unlimited storage per acc) mail accounts is not good idea?

cppop indexes mailboxes so as long as they don't get 250 megs of new mail each day it really shouldn't be that bad.
