cppop failed

Hello all,

Today, after cPanel update, my cppop service don´t restart more. Anybody can help me?

[email protected] [/var/log]# /scripts/restartsrv cppop
Waiting for cppop to restart..............finished.


cppop has failed, please contact the sysadmin.
[email protected] [/var/log]#

I already try "upcp --force" but the problem persist...

Hello all,

I only find this message of error:

[email protected] [/etc/init.d]# /usr/local/cpanel/bin/cppop
Can't use an undefined value as a symbol reference at bin/cppop.pl line 438.
[email protected] [/etc/init.d]#

Any ideia?

Hello Marcus,

Check if your cPanel license is expired. If yes, renew it first and after, convert run:

/scripts/upcp --force

If this command don´t resolve the problem, you will need convert the mbox to maildir and after restore a backup. ATTENTION: make a backup first, before convert mbox to maildir. The command is:

/scripts/convert2maildir

After you reconvert from maildir to mbox (using the backup).
