Maybe a Exim restart would help?

IT's not a problem with Exim.. It's a problem with my POP server. I need to keep restarting, but this can't be a permanant solution. Anyone know what is wrong with CPPop? Please help.

I know your problem is with cppop but why don't you want to try my advice?

If it won't help, it also won't harm.

What do your logs tell you?

run some mail through at the same time and tail these logs

    /var/log/messages

    /var/log/maillog

    /var/log/exim_mainlog

We had the same issue and running the cpanel update took care of it.

    problem resolved.

    What i did was this.

check in tweak settings unchecked Flood Prevention apply those settings.

Reboot CPPOP and it worked. I could check mail however no mail was being recieved you could send out mail but would not get any I checked in the mail queue got an error about antivirus.exim.conf file or something like that. What I then did was ran from root /scripts/rebuildeximtodefaults and it started working fine the queue emptied out sending out all that mail.

    I hope this helps.
