Does cppop really need to log every single pop session and mail it to us in the system check log every day? I mean a 2mb email to wade through isn't a barell of laughs and a record of all the pop sessions just hides anything useful. Is there a way to turn off the emailing of this item? or get it logged elsewhere?

this might help prevent the majority of this, or all?
if you can find the right combination for your syslog configuration.

Or, there might be a cpanel logging config somewhere beyond the syslog.conf that tells cppop to log where and when. For info on handling the syslog.conf, check out this thread for starters:

To stop it adding to the email do this...

edit this file:
/etc/logcheck/logcheck.ignore

And add this line to end of the file:
cpanelpop.*Session Closed
