I am hoping someone else is having a similar problem. After about 5 to 10 minutes, connection attempts to cppop will timeout. It will remain like this till I restart this service. I have two questions hoping someone will know the answer.

    1) If you encountered this, were you able to fix the problem?
    2) Where is the script to restart it so I can add it to the crontab? I am currently using /etc/rc.d/init.d/cpanel but this restarts all of cpanel, but I am wondering if theres a script to restart just cppop.

Thanks to anyone that can answer either question.

    Peace Out

    Yes, all servers!

<update>I found no mail was working on any server (you could not pop mail) until Cppop was restarted. If you ran the cpanel update this morning, make sure your mail works, or restart cppop</update>

I noticed I had not received any mail since I ran the cpanel update which was highlighted in red as important in my WHM...
I checked and cppop was stuck. I am now restarting it using the link in whm.

What was the urgent update and why is it messing up cppop?

you should find the cppop restart script in "/scripts restartsrc cppop"

I am also having this. cppop takes 99.9% cpu when it gets to doing this!
