CPPOP from what I can figure is a customer written mail program for Cpanel, however, what I would like to know is if there is a way to use other virtual mail servers without having an entire new account made.

By this I mean.. I want to have 2 seperate mail servers running, the first one is @domain.com and the second is @sub.domain.com . Is there a way to call the cpanel pop server directly to make the new account?

Oh, and why does my CPPOP crash once a night? then come back up

cppop doesn\'t crash it just gets restarted with the cpanel update.

oh ok :) Then my cpanel must get updated often :)

The second question is still left un-answered. Since CPPOP is a custom built POP server from what I understand, is there a way to create new pop servers for a subdomain, or another domain that doesn\'t have a web presence?

if so, which script do I need to interact with and what paramaters does it need to be sent?

    Thanks
    Kevin :)

On our server cppop goes down when cpanel update starts and starts working again once the update is finished. That\'s about 15 minutes everyday...

    How can I fix it?

It wasn't fair to leave your thread with a question at the end... so I said why not. ;)
