cpsrvd failed

I am using cPanel WHM on Free BSD 6.1 platform.
Everything is working properly, but on every hour I don’t have an access to WHM. I get the followin message: cpsrvd failed.

Login through SSH and issue the restart command:
service chkservd restart

This should get chkservd running.

I have the same problem with CentOS, my DC has told me this is a bug.

In WHM, under Tweak Setting find this entry:

"The maximum memory a cPanel process can use before it is killed off (in megabytes). Values less than 64 megabytes can not be specified."

Set it higher than you have now... even up to 512. See if that helps. That is what my DC told me to try and it seems to have worked. But I don't know if this is really the best solution.
