Having looked through the forums I cant find another command to restart cpanel other than 'service cpanel restart' but that dont work on my box:

    Code:
    root@calypso [/usr/local/cpanel]# service cpanel restart
    bash: service: command not found
    root@calypso [/usr/local/cpanel]#
how else can i restart it? or more specifically cpsrvd which keeps failing :/

    Go on, have a guess
It would help to know what OS you're running. Try:

    /etc/init.d/cpanel restart

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...
