    cPanel write the software that powers the server, they dont manage or secure it, that is down to the sysadmin.

    Also the webmaster of the site must not have done a very good job if this happened as well. SQL Injection is due to poorly written scripts. Blame the webmaster and whomever did the QA on the site.
