    Hello Grettings

Hi I have to make a backup of several cPanel accounts hosted on a VPS to a shared one. Can I select these accounts and make a backup via the SSH console?

    Thank you

    Hello @wreyes,

Will you have root access to the destination server, or the help of the hosting provider to transfer accounts from another server?

    Thank you.

In ssh to make a backup of an account you can type
    /scripts/pkgacct username
Or if you are doing the whole server it may be easier to just enable the backup config in WHM.

If you don't have root access, then it has to be done individually inside cpanel in the backup link, but most people just ask the old host to make the backups for them.
