One of my users is experiencing the following problem:

Squirrel Mail say 'ERROR: Could not complete request.
    Query: CREATE "INBOX.Trash"
Reason Given: Cannot create this folder.'

I believe they deleted their mail directory by mistake, but appear to have restored it manually.

There appears to be very little documentation on this subject.

Then they probably have the wrong permissions on the directories.

    assume accountname is 'jackass':

    /home/jackass/mail should be chowned jackass:mail

    Then chown -R jackass:jackass /home/jackass/mail/*

BUT - thre is more to it than that though.

Compare a 'working' accounts /home/working/mail directory with the 'nonworking' accounts /home/nonworking/mail directory and make appropriate chowns and chmods.
