I have an old inherited user account with a lot of cruft in there, and would like to shift development of the site which will sit on the domain name associated with that account to a new user, in order to start with a clean slate.

I don't need to move across any websites, databases, etc etc etc. from the old account, but I would like to keep the old user rather than trashing it, just in case there's anything it turns out I need to keep in there.

How can I safely remove the domain from the old user? I can't create a new user with it while it's still associated with the old one...

    Hello :)

You can modify the domain name associated with the old account via:

"WHM Home » Account Functions » Modify an Account"

Then, create a new account with the domain name.

    Thank you.
