Newbie question however a good one I think. New to cPanel and I like to migrate 25 Wordpress websites currently on another hosting. I understand the principal of AddOn Domains and sharing a folder but that’s not what I want.

I am running a strong VPS with myself as admin with full privileges also set up with WHMSCS to sell hosting and domains however all I want is clear instructions from the point of creating a new User with reseller privileges (with proper package with mostly unlimited functions use) in WHM to finding where to create multiple cPanels for each site, from this new User cPanel. All I am finding is tutorials on AddOn Domains and how to create a reseller and nothing further

1. in WHM -> Account Functions -> Create a New Account create an account for the reseller.
2. in WHM -> Resellers -> Receller Center under Add Reseller Account Privileges select the account you created and click "Add".
3. in WHM -> Resellers -> Edit Reseller Nameservers and Privileges you give the reseller features and limits as you prefer.

Notice that the account you create in step 1 can have only minimal disk space and bandwidth limits, those limits have nothing to do with the reseller's limits (which you set in step 3).

To add to @quietFinn's advice in step 3 if you select all privileges you should keep in mind that you will be created a reseller with root-level privileges which sounds like what you're looking for.

Thank you, that's exactly what I was looking for the last 2 days. thx again, I am sure this thread will complete the circle of info for anyone looking to do this in the future.

After some experimenting I finally learned the system further
4. Go to WHM inside the newly created reseller cPanel
5. Go to Packages and create a package that can handle the disks quota and parameters you plan to use whiten this reseller account. In my case I allocated for 10 Wordpress sites.
5. Go to Account Information — List Accounts and start creating new accounts for individual domains which will have there own cPanel

Pls correct me if I am missing something but I believe this is how it’s done

Hello @therussian

That sounds correct for what you'd want to do after creating the reseller in your instance. Please let us know if there's anything further we can do to be of assistance.
