I followed these instructions to create a root SSH login for putty:
    SSH/Shell Access
    Create a New SSH Key

But when i try and login I received an "Access Denied". Is there a step I'm missing? Following the above instructions is to create a root SSH login, right?

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hello :)

Please ensure the key file you have generated is authorized in "WHM >> Security Center >> Manage root’s SSH Keys" by using the "Manage Authorization" option to the right of the key.

    Thank you.

Please check /etc/hosts.allow and /etc/hosts.deny if you have restricted ssh access. You can also check it from WHM > CecurityCenter > Host Access Control. You may need to your IP to allow ssh access if ssh access is restricted.

You may also want to add your IP to the whitelist in cPHulk.
