Creating a DNS Zone with only a CNAME record

    I want the root of a domain to point to ghs.google.com. And I'm using a provider that uses CPanel. Is it possible to do this?

    What I want:

    domain.com 3300 IN CNAME ghs.google.com

    That's it. No NS records, or MX records, or A records or any of that. Straight mapping. I've done this manually with other DNS providers.. is there a reason this can't be done?

    that can be done from WHM-->edit dns zone
