When creating an account on a dedicated IP address, and specifying that IP address in WHM, WHM creates the account on a different IP address, even though the IP address initially selected works fine.

This happens on multiple IPs, and is not limited to one.

Anyone have any suggestions? This is proving to be a busy day for us, and this quirk is getting annoying...

I had the exact same thing today....

A bunch of our accounts got lost from the server, but the files were there, so I went to recreate the accounts with the same IPs to limit the downtime, and damn WHM still gives it a random IP....

I've gotten apache to read the old IP and the new IP, but this is just a quick fix till the dns changes propagate, I really want a proper fix to this...

And how about a feature to edit IPs for an account in WHM?

Same problem here,
It installs on other ips instead of dedicated ip and also we have another problem two!
When we make new account we have to uppercase the DNS!
thats just for new accounts and the old accounts are working fine with lower case dns address!
