Creating autoresponder causes SMTP to stop working for that account

Has anyone else encountered this problem? Whenever an auto responder is created on an account it stops SMTP from authorising any email when trying to sending email from that account.

Deleting the auto responder or recreating the email account doesn't fix it.

Dear BP Steven,

This is very unusual. This may not be related to your autoresponder. Please try with webmail. You should be able to send mails.
