    Hi

I would like to know if it's possible to create account that can still access cPanel, but with no main FTP account, no file manager, etc...

I want to create email package, everything is fine except the main FTP account (same login/password than cPanel) ... I don't want to remove it manually, there are a place in WHM, or whatever that I can said : "don't create FTP account" ?

    Thanks

I think there's an EMAIL skin for Cpanel you can set in your WHM that only gives email based functions. I think its called XMAIL.

Its in my WHM. I threw it on a demo login and it only gives the user the following options when they login to CPANEL.

    Change Password
    Access Web Mail
    Add / Remove Email Accounts
    Modify Default Address
    Auto-Responders
    Block an E-mail
Add / Remove / Modify Forwarders
    Mailing Lists
    Spam Assassin
    Trace an Email Address
    Modifiy Mail Exchanger (MX Entry)
    BoxTrapper

But why can't they implemend this on cPanel? It would make things a lot more easy if you could just create accounts without ftp access.

Is this solution dependant on the FTP server software used?

We're running pure-ftpd and it doesn't have any effect.

the theme doesnt disable the ftp account, it merely removes the ftp options from their control panel

One option is to create a feature set and package set with only the email option available. You can allow the client only to see his email stats and have the email controls. Then create an account with 0 FTP / subdomain / addon domain / SSH / etc options and you'll have what you need :)
