We are running a Wordpress Multisite Network on a Dedicated Server. We are trying to create email accounts for individual sites hosted inside the Wordpress Multisite Network. The Multisite Network is serving up the sites using the WordPress MU Domain Mapping plugin.

Is there a way to easily configure cPanel to create email accounts for these mapped domains that are hosted within the Wordpress Multisite Network?

This sounds like more of a question for over on the Wordpress support forums. Searching over there for the term: email accounts
wordpress.org/search/email+account?forums=1

I came across a plugin that might be useful:
wordpress.org/plugins/cpanel-e-mail-manager/

In the FAQ for that plugin, here:
secure.insyncbusinessgroup.com/knowledgebase.php?action=displayarticle&id=201204321

It says this:
If you are running WordPress Multisite (MU), the dropdown menu will only show the domain assigned to the MU. If a DNS record has not been created on the cPanel server for the MU, a link will be provided to add one.
There is nothing in cPanel that can help you with this task, AFAIK.

The reason I posted this here is because I saw this thread: Create email accounts for mapped domains - Wordpress Multisite

Before I posted on it I saw the message that I should start a new thread. I know it's not a widely discussed topic - but I was hoping for any ideas. I appreciate the links but I've already tried to find a solution on those forums and couldn't find anything useful. I suspect that the solution would have something to with Addon Domains but I don't how the Addon Domain would resolve in DNS with the domain mapping that Wordpress Multisite seems to require.

Any additional ideas or possible solutions - even where to go to ask the right questions, would be very helpful. Thank you.

Thanks for the response. So if I understand what you suggest then I should create an Alias in cPanel for each site within the Wordpress Multisite Network that I want to have an email account? Then I can create email accounts based on those Aliases? Setting up the Alias won't interfere with the Domain Mapping?
