I've transferred some accounts from another control panel (Ensim), and I have one customer who used to create database names with a dash in them. He has a home-made app that used a dash in the naming convention.

In CPanel, the interface seems to strip the dash from the database name.

As root I can create databases with a dash in them.

Does anyone know of a work-around? This is a big problem for this customer.

    thanks in advance!
