I was wondering if anyone knows the method that Cpanel uses to create new email accounts. This is the only interface my hosts have given me with the server and I was hoping to allow the users on my website the abillity to create their own email accounts without having to email me and get me to log into the control panel to create it for them.

If that really is beyond the realms of possibility would it be easier to give them the ability to change their passwords?

    Thanks for your time,
    Martin.

An option to change password is available after logging into webmail.

The remote access features supplied by cPanel provide a good basis for an API to do more or less whatever you like from whatever site you like. In short, you can (relatively easily) allow people to create email addresses from your own custom interface i.e. from your site.

You'll find lots of info on this topic in the forums if you search around a bit.

Google the web for "InstaMail" or "Cpanel Mail".
I made my own version of this script, I use it on my site.

There is no full version to purchase, it's completely free. You must have it confused with another script.
