Cron Emails - Fantastico Script no longer exists

Hi!

I've got a VPS, and so as it's just me and a few other sites, I asked my host to remove Fantastico.

However, I'm now getting the following emails every day when the cron script runs, and I wondered if it'd be possible to have some guidance on what to do?

From: Cron Daemon
Subject: Cron <[email protected][hostname]> cd /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/fantastico/scripts/ ; /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/php cron.php > /dev/null 2>&1
Body:
/bin/sh: line 0: cd: /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/fantastico/scripts/: No such file or directory
I've got direct access to the server, so am happy to make changes, just don't want to mess around in something that I'm not too competent at!

Thanks :D

Hello :)

You can edit the root crontab by using the following command:

Code:
# crontab -e
Or, install the following plugin to access this through Web Host Manager:

Code:
"WHM >> cPanel >> Manage Plugins >> Cron Config"
Thank you.

Hi!

Thanks for that! I couldn't get it to work, not sure if it's me being silly or not, but hey ho!

Instead, I issued the following, which seemed to work, so thank you for giving me the basic advice!
# nano /var/spool/cron/root
And then restarted crond, which seems to have fixed the emails!

Thanks :)
