Hello,I have recently updated cpanel to a latest version.Since then my cron jobs aren't working,so i had to run them manually through URL.

then i have tried to restart crond by typing in ssh:

    crond restart
    the operation was successful.

Now everytime i run a cron job i get an email:

php: error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto.so.6: failed to map segment from shared object: Cannot allocate memory

I have tried deleting RLimitMEM in my apache configuration file, but the problem still excists.

can you please help me resolve this issue?

If you have RLimitMEM set, try commenting it out and restarting Apache first off rather than removing it. If that doesn't work, then next question, are you using suPHP on the machine as the PHP handler? All instances of similar messages were for suPHP machines. You can find the handler in WHM > Apache Configuration > PHP and SuExec Configuration area.

I have tried commenting it,restarting apache and finally changed the PHP 5 Handler but the problem is still present.

I still get the same error message in my email:

php: error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto.so.6: failed to map segment from shared object: Cannot allocate memory

It's possible the system itself is running out of memory. You can use the following command to search for any error messages pertaining to memory usage:

    Code:
    # grep mem /var/log/messages
Also, you are welcome to open a support ticket for this issue and we can check further:

    Thank you.

    Any news about this?
The same is happening running a PHP cron: --
/usr/local/bin/php: error while loading shared libraries:
libcrypto.so.6: failed to map segment from shared object: Cannot
    allocate memory

The server is not running out of memory.

Do you have "Shell Fork Bomb Protection" enabled in WHM? If so, it is limiting users on the amount of memory that can be used. Please try disabling that option to see if the issue continues to occur.
