I've came across a few posts the past month or so of people complaining about problems with setting up cron jobs through cPanel.

If you are aware of any problems that are still occurring, will you please reply and list each problem and what O/S you're running?

One thing I've noticed is when you use the advanced editor in cpanel to delete a cron job, it doesn't delete the right one.

    cron jobs

I'm having a problem when I add cron jobs. I host safelists and the script I use requires 2 cron jobs to be added for each safelist I host. I am trying to consolidate the domains I host these safelists on. My problem is after I have enter 13 or fourteen cron jobs thru my cpanel I go to add more and when I click "commit changes" the page just sits there and it will not let me add anymore cron jobs. Doesn't matter if I use Advanced or Standard. Its like I'm limited to how many cron jobs I can add. This happens on all my domains and on both my servers.

Also when I go to delete a cron job it deletes a completely different cron job than the one I wanted deleted.

I have sent this to my support a number of times and have been told this is a cpanel problem.

    I am running:
    Apache version 1.3.28 (Unix)
    Operating system Linux
    Kernel version 2.4.21
    Cpanel version 7.4.2-EDGE-102

I'd really like to know the fix for this.

    Thanks,
    biker156

Next step would then be to submit a Ticket (using WHM > Support > Support Center) explaining the problem. They ask for login information to your Server and try to get them to commit to a specific day, if not time, when they will be working on it.

I'm sure this was fixed. I saw it in the changelog recently as a bug fixed.

The changelog page says it was fixed in build 87. Apparently the problem was due to the addition of the mailto box. My guess is, that addition caused the count to be off.
