    Hi,

    In spite of the fact that cPanel makes things so easy, there are some things that just don't click. On my old box I was able to "see" if my cron jobs ran successfully. However now on my new [cPanel] box, how can I tell if the cron job runs OK? Even though I supplied an email address as requested on the "standard cron manager" page, I don't get any emails. What gives?

    Oh yeah, just a quick comment - I can see the error_log file. But it seems that the only time I would see anything there is if there was an error. My question is how do I know that the cron job is running OK?

    Thanks in advance for the help.

    Hi Abu,

    Get into the cpanel:

    Domain name/cpanel/

    cron jobs -->> Advanced(unix style)

    Enter these parameters Minute Hour Day Month Weekday Command

    Above enter the email to which the out put should be redirected.

    The command should be simple, so you can check it out whether it is cron job is running.

    Hope this will help to resolve your issue.

    Regards,
